Working almost exclusively in sculpture for thirty years, Bunge models in clay and casts in bronze. Exploring the human condition, she addresses themes of love, family, war, hope, betrayal, famine, and pride. After an injury, she abruptly found herself in a new position, basically on her back, looking up. Now more time is spent outside drawing and painting the sky, air, water, sun, clouds, wind. Inspired by movement, Jane tries to create the impossible - rendering change, infinity, and impermanence.
